1、 Transformer principle
 
 
The principle of transformer is not complex, it uses the principle of electromagnetic induction. When an infinite amount of current flows through one of the conductors, a variable magnetic field is generated. According to the mutual inductance principle of electromagnetics, this changing magnetic field will cause the potential difference of the second conductor. If the second conductor is part of a closed circuit, the closed circuit will generate current. So electricity is transmitted. In general transformers, the relevant conductor is a coil composed of wires, because the magnetic field generated by the coil is much larger than that generated by the straight wire. When AC current flows through the primary coil, AC magnetic flux is generated in the iron core and voltage is induced in the secondary coil. The voltage VS and VP of the primary and secondary coils are proportional to the turns NS and NP.
 
 
As for the current or voltage ratio on both sides of the transformer, it depends on the number of turns of two circuit coils. The side with more turns has higher voltage and lower current, and vice versa. If leakage and other factors are excluded, the voltage ratio on both sides of the transformer is equal to the ratio of turns of coils on both sides, that is, the voltage is proportional to the turns. Therefore, the turns ratio of the primary coil and the secondary coil can be reduced or increased, thereby increasing or decreasing the voltage. This characteristic of transformer brand products makes it an important device for voltage conversion. Since the transformer obeys these two laws, it will not be an amplifier. If the voltage on both sides of the transformer is different, the current flowing through both sides of the transformer will also be different, and the difference between the two is inversely proportional.

2、 Difference between dry-type transformer and oil immersed transformer
 
 
Dry type transformers can directly see the iron core and coil, and most of them use silicone rubber bushings, which are suitable for power distribution. Most of the capacity is below 1600KVA, the voltage is below 10KV, and some can achieve 35KV voltage level. Oil immersed transformers can only see the shell of the transformer. Most of them use porcelain bushings, which can be used for high-voltage circuits. They can achieve full capacity from small to large, and the voltage level can also achieve all voltages.
 
 
3、 How to Classify Transformers
 
 
The voltage grade of transformer is fixed, and the common ones are 1000KV, 750KV, 500KV, 330KV, 220KV, 110KV, 66KV, 35KV, 20KV, 10KV, 6KV, etc. According to R10 priority coefficient, transformer capacity can be divided into four grades: small transformer, medium transformer, large transformer and super large transformer.
