Malabo Sewage Treatment Project in Equatorial Guinea

On October 8, 2015, Malabo Sewage Treatment Project in Equatorial Guinea contracted by Gezhouba Group started trial operation, and Hengfengyou Electric provided the complete set of medium and low voltage equipment for its supporting production.
The project is the largest and most advanced environmental protection project in Equatorial Guinea, with a daily average of 14,000 cubic meters of municipal sewage collected to the sewage treatment plant through the sewage pipe network covering the whole city and 5 sewage lifting pumping stations. The 239.5km pipe network covers 85% ~ 90% of the sewage treatment capacity of the city.
Senior government officials, including the prime minister, the infrastructure minister and the director of the national project office, have said they will visit the sewage treatment plant in the near future.
