The salahadin power station project in Iraq, undertaken by Shandong No.3 Power Construction Company of China Power Construction Institute, is located in salahadin province 186 km north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. It is equipped with two 630MW subcritical oil and gas units. The owner of the project is the Ministry of electric power of Iraq. Hengfengyou electric provides some 6kV medium voltage switchgear and other power distribution equipment for the project.
