On April 10th, the Ukrainian State Power Company announced that it had conducted an inter national grid capacity allocation bidding on the same day. According to the bidding results, Ukraine will allocate 330 megawatts of capacity to export electricity to Moldova on April 11th.
Ukrainian State Power Company stated that it will also conduct a bidding for the allocation of 80 megawatts of installed capacity to Poland on April 12th later on the 10th. At the same time, the Ukrainian side is still discussing the possibility of initiating the export of electricity to Slovakia.
On April 8th, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy made a decision to resume electricity exports to Europe while ensuring the supply of electricity to Ukrainian consumers and the existence of additional available power generation in the power system.
Hengfengyou electric engineer explain that Electric power transmission is somewhat similar to natural gas transmission, requiring special transmission pipelines. For electricity, it requires the connection between the domestic power grid and the Ukrainian power grid, and high-voltage transmission lines can be used to transmit electricity.
In the four stages of power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption,
power transformers appear in the first three stages.
Firstly, in the power generation process, power transformers transmit the electricity generated by the power plant to the grid and increase the output voltage of the power plant to meet the rated high voltage requirements of the transmission grid. The transformer used here belongs to the step-up transformer.
Secondly, it is used for voltage conversion between power grids of different voltage levels.
Thirdly, at the end of
power transmission, the
voltage is reduced through various levels of power transformers to meet the voltage requirements of the
distribution network.
