Qingdao Hengfengyou Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. has received a US $2.37 million order from Uzelectroapparat, a power transmission system operator in Uzbekistan, to supply 10/35kV oil-immersed power transformers for the local power grid upgrade project.

Due to the serious aging of the Uzbek power grid, most of the power distribution equipment was built in the 1970s, and many of the equipment has been in operation for more than 50 years, with frequent power failure accidents, and it is in urgent need of renovation.

The commissioning of the project will greatly improve the power supply in remote rural areas, urban distribution, industrial electricity, etc., and will be of great significance to the upgrading of Uzbekistan's economy.
