The South Extension Power Transmission Project of Ethiopian National Grid is located in the Omo River basin in the south of Ethiopia. The main works include the expansion of two substations, the construction of three substations, and the related works of two 230Kv and 132Kv transmission lines. The implementation of the project will provide strong guarantees for the people's livelihood and economic construction of Ethiopia, assist Ethiopia in exporting electricity to neighboring countries, and create an East African power center.
